Budd Hipp

Budd embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in 2001 when he established his first venture, HIPP Design + Consulting. Over the past two decades, his company has been a dedicated partner to a diverse range of clients in the fields of life sciences, advanced manufacturing, food and beverage, industrial, healthcare, and consumer products. Budd brings to the table over 35 years of invaluable experience in project management and design, a critical pillar of HIPP's enduring success.

During his extensive career as a project manager and engineer, Budd recognized a common challenge faced by many large companies - the need for qualified talent. This realization prompted Budd to take action, and in 2021, he founded his second enterprise, HIPP Workforce Solutions. This new venture is laser-focused on bridging the gap by providing technical resources to established clients nurtured over his three decades in the design industry, as well as forging relationships with new clients facing similar resource challenges.

Budd has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is an active member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE), the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and the North Carolina Healthcare Engineers Association (NCHEA).
